Gatlinburg Tennessee is an incredible travel destination for groups looking to get into the Christmas spirit! Gatlinburg is located just over four hours north of Atlanta, Georgia. This Christmas town is filled with great restaurants, Christmas shows, shops, and entertainment for all ages.
The Fantasy of the Lights Christmas Parade
The Christmas season kicks off with The Fantasy of the Lights Christmas parade in downtown Gatlinburg on December 2nd. Featuring lighted floats, high school marching bands, enormous balloons, and even an appearance from Santa Claus and his elves! A tree lighting ceremony will also take place a few minutes prior to the start of the parade. While Gatlinburg may not be the most coach bus friendly place, our team has mapped out suggestions of places to park and drop off your group. This parade will make you feel like a child again!
The Inn at Christmas Place
Located in Pigeon Forge Tennessee, The Inn at Christmas Place is the best Christmas themed hotel your group can stay in! The indoor and seasonal outdoor pools are a great place to spend downtime and relax during your stay. There is charter bus parking on site, making it very accessible for your group’s stay. Christmas Themed Mini Golf
Need a photo opportunity with Santa this holiday season? Visit Crave Mini Golf for the Crave Candy Christmas event ongoing through November 10 to January 15. The entire mini golf course is decorated for the holidays with lights and Christmas trees throughout the course. Free pictures with Santa and the Christmas Grouch are included with your visit; this is a great stop for groups!
Christmas Shows
While in Pigeon Forge, catch a Christmas show at one of the many entertainment sites in town. There are plenty of dinner show options such as Lumberjack Feud, Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Country Tonite, Pirate’s Voyage, and The Hatfield Dinner Feud. These shows take place year-round, but during the holiday season they are Christmas themed! Charter bus parking is available on site at each of these locations.
Anakeesta’s Enchanted Christmas
Anakeesta is a must see location while in Gatlinburg. The annual Christmas season at Anakeesta takes place from November 14 through January 1. A charter bus can take you and your group right to the start of the skylift to travel up to Anakeesta. Hear the Christmas Carolers sing, and watch Jolly the Juggling Elf, along with Santa Claus! Santa is available for pictures on select nights. Hot Chocolate and Peppermint lattes are available for sale to keep you in the Christmas spirit while you view all of the Christmas lights. If you go during select mornings, there is a Breakfast with Santa option for pictures and pancakes too!
